I would say, I don’t have words, but, it’s a blog….. so, you’re pretty much banking on me having words.
I went to Vedge for dinner …. sidebar… amazing! But, back to the original topic. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert and was blown out of the water. Cheesecake is one of my all time favorite desserts – EVER! I couldn’t wait to see how this vegan version stacked up against some of the cheesecakes that I’ve had in the past.
If you’re a cheesecake fan, you know there’s two main issues going on with the cheesecake taste test. 1. Texture. 2. Flavor. In the texture category there’s a few variables: Light & Fluffy vs. Heavy & Dense. Mealy vs. Velvety. Firmness vs. Mush. Under Flavor there is: Bitter vs. Sweet.
This cheesecake is everything you want in a sweet, velvety, firm, light & fluffy amazingness! It’s truly the best vegan cheesecake that I’ve had thus far in my culinary journey.
Oh, I’ll address the perfect graham cracker crust! Just the perfect amount of cinnamon, firm and crumbly.
I think I may cry as I write this…. I’ve actually gone back to the restaurant and sat in the bar lounge and just had the cheesecake.
