Ugly Cupcakes + Savory Cookies – don’t hate!

I stumbled on the cutest bakery, just off of South Street in Philadelphia. I had to check it out, ever since I saw the Facebook post about their HOT WING COOKIES. So last week, I headed down to South Street. As I was walking south on 5th Street, the large red logo letters POPPED off of the window, COOKIE CONFIDENTIAL.

I walked in and started talking to the tattooed girl with a huge smile who was behind the counter, turns out, she was the owner!

Diner fish smells like Camden after a rain shower?

Diner Dinner in Audubon, NJ

There was a road trip to NJ, a group of friends decided to cross the Ben Franklin to check out the sober scenes in New Jersey. We ended up at the Legacy diner for dinner in Audubon. I’m not sure where exactly that is, but you can, as Madonna says, “look it up”. As if no one ever said it before her, but now, it’s her line for life.

I digress, diner for dinner! My go-to diner choices are always – breakfast OR turkey club with fries!

Erawan’s Pad Thai was stupid good!

Crunch Shrimp Rolls

AWESOME PAD THAI

Yeah, I know, the picture’s of the appetizer, Crunch Shrimp Rolls, but honestly folks, you’ve seen Pad Thai, is it really photo worthy? eeehhh, not so much.

When it comes to Thai, I’m usually pretty much a creature of habit, it’s either a curry dish (yellow, green, massaman, yada yada yada) with chicken OR Pad Thai.

I’ve found that Pad Thai is either hit or miss. However, most times, i find that Pad Thai ends up tasting like feet.

Not so with Erawan! The pad thai was awesome!

Also, a side note: Erawan is one of the few restaurants in Chinatown, that puts a few bucks into looking good!

You need to check it out!
