  • 1 cup Toor Dal Split Pigeon Peas
  • ½ cup Moong Dal Split Green Gram
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of red Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee Clarified Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch of Asafoetida Hing
  • 1 medium-sized Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 3 Green Chilies chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • Fresh Coriander leaves for garnish
