This sauce recipe makes enough for about one large pizza. Feel free to double or triple the recipe if you're making multiple pizzas or if you want extra sauce for dipping.
For a smoother sauce, you can puree the tomatoes in a blender or food processor before adding them to the saucepan.
Leftover sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or frozen for longer storage. Simply thaw and reheat before using.
